No one’s gonna miss me.
Can we talk about this for a minute? While everyone else had disturbing hallucinations that displayed every emotion that they try to suppress as well, they were all very clear. Allison is afraid that she can’t protect herself. Scott is fearful of losing Allison and not being able to keep her safe. Stiles blames himself for his mother’s death and his father’s pain.
But Jackson.
Jackson has been traumatized by the fact that he has never been able to meet his birth parents. He can’t even visualize their faces. And then his face becomes a blur, because Jackson feels as if he has no identity. Under his outstanding, undeniable douchebaggery, Jackson is suffering. We’ve noticed this countless times. But the message has never been sent so clearly before.
Jackon’s life is one big, seemingly irreversable existential crisis and he’s felt like this his from the beginning which is why he hasn’t told his adoptive parents that he loved them in 11 years. Jackson has no idea where he’s come from. Jackson has no idea what he’s doing here. Jackson has no idea who he is.
And there’s a very heavy, very real possibility that it could be the death of him.
